A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. If you cancel without rearranging, or if your vehicle cannot be tuned due to existing faults or prior remapping, your deposit will be retained to cover our labour and/or travel costs (if mobile). A £50 charge may also apply for a diagnostic health check.

Finance Option

If you’ve chosen to pay via Payment Assist, your finance agreement is managed independently and not by us. In the event your vehicle cannot be tuned, a £50 diagnostic and labour fee will still apply. You must contact Payment Assist directly to cancel your agreement and recover your initial deposit.

Customer Acknowledgement

By proceeding, you confirm that:

• Your vehicle is roadworthy and maintained according to the manufacturer’s service schedule, including cambelt/timing chain maintenance.
• You are tuning the vehicle at your own risk, and you absolve DT Remapping of liability for any issues or failures resulting from or after tuning.
• Vehicles registered before 2005 are tuned strictly at the customer’s own risk.

Warranty

We provide a lifetime software warranty on the ECU remap file only. This includes:

• Free adjustments to the software if necessary.
• Diagnostic checks if a tuning-related issue arises.

⚠️ If diagnostics show a fault not caused by our remap, a £50 diagnostic fee applies.

The warranty is valid only for the original vehicle owner and void if the vehicle is modified, remapped elsewhere, or serviced by a third-party tuner or garage.

Software & Mechanical Responsibility

Our remaps are thoroughly tested and reliable. However, remapping may place additional strain on wear-and-tear components. You accept full responsibility for failure of parts such as:

• Clutch
• DPF
• Turbo
• EGR Valve
• Coil Packs
• MAF Sensor
• Injectors
• Oil Pressure Sensor

DT Remapping accepts no liability for any mechanical failures before, during, or after tuning.

Off-Road Use Notice

Modifications such as DPF, EGR, AdBlue deletes, or Pop & Bang maps are intended for off-road use only. Pop & Bang or Hardcut limiters are known to risk engine damage and are done at your own request and risk.

Remap Process & Expectations

• Health Check Required: It’s your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is in good mechanical condition. If issues are detected (e.g. stored fault codes), we may postpone the remap until resolved.
• If your vehicle has already been mapped, a £130 programming fee still applies.
• If ECU bench access is required (rather than standard OBD tuning), a £50 surcharge will apply.
• In rare cases, an ECU may fail during tuning and may need to be replaced at your cost.

Refund Policy

We offer a money-back guarantee only if:

• There is a proven fault with our software.
• We are given the opportunity to fix it or return your vehicle to standard.

Refunds are not given if a fault is unrelated to the remap.

Return to Stock / File Edits

• Return to stock file: £120
• Modification to existing file: From £220 (depending on the changes required)

Proof of original remap by DT Remapping is required.

Conduct & Complaints

Any concerns must be reported within 7 days. Public complaints or social media accusations without evidence may result in legal action.
